Skin Beautifying Smoothie

Beauty comes from within. Healthy, clear, radiant skin doesn’t only result from what we apply to the skin but also from what we eat. I like to think of eating clean food as a way to ingest skincare.

Skin Beautifying Smoothie Recipe:

+ Vegan Protein Powder: I use a gluten, dairy, soy and GMO free pea protein

+ 1/4 cup Wild Organic Blueberries: blueberries contain potent skin protecting antioxidants

+ 1 tablespoon Organic Chia Seeds: full of healthy omega-3 fat and skin defending antioxidants

+ 1 tablespoon MCT Oil: for healthy fat to help keep skin hydrated from the inside out

+ 1 handful Organic Spinach: full of nutrient dense, phytonutrients and flavonoids to protect skin cells

+ 1 tablespoon Organic Raw Almond or Walnut Butter: antioxidant benefits from vitamin E in almonds and walnuts

+ 2 cups Unsweetened Organic Almond Milk: almonds are rich in vitamin E which may help prevent oxidative stress from free radicals

Try adding your favorite superfood powder to personalize your skin beautifying smoothie.

Blend to desired consistency & voila!
